Oberlin University is the perfect location for Northeast Ohio senior portraits; it is so cool! I had never been there before but I was so happy when we arrived. Oberlin College is walking distance to the downtown which is home to many little coffee shops and store fronts. It reminds me a little of Back to the Future in the 1950s. Anyway, it was a great place to meet up for some senior photos.
My cousin (really like a sister to me!) has two (not so little) great boys. If you are a long time follower, you might remember Jimmy’s senior portraits over at Lakeview Cemetery right outside of little Italy in Cleveland. Yeah, it seems like yesterday to me too! Here is that link if you want to check it out!
This time, it was Danny’s turn, so we decided to head somewhere new. While I am from Ohio, we have been away for so long that sometimes I need a little inspiration for locations! My dad recommended Oberlin and it fit the bill. It was close to Cleveland for an easy commute and it has some cool architecture, great fall foliage, and even an old fire escape.
Oberlin has it all for Northeast Ohio senior portraits in the area!

Oberlin was the first college in America to adopt a policy to admit black students (1835) and the first to grant bachelor’s degrees to women (1841) in a coeducational program.
